Dorsa Barzin, Senior VP of Strategy at The Public Interest Company, explored patient engagement through a case study, emphasizing micro and macro strategies. She highlighted tools like the Patient Activation Measure (PAM) to identify where intervention can have the greatest impact and discussed barriers like health literacy and social determinants.

Allyson Keller – Voice Assistant for Inbound Calls: Improving the Patient Experience

Allyson Keller, VP of the Patient Connection Center at Piedmont Healthcare, shared insights into the implementation of a voice assistant system to enhance patient engagement and operational efficiency. Faced with increasing call volumes and limited self-service options, Piedmont partnered with Hyro to deploy a virtual assistant.
