Selena Gurley – The collaborative approach of Urgent Care and Telemedicine

Selena Gurley, Vice President of Accreditation at Fast Pace Health, discussed the collaborative approach of urgent care and telemedicine to improve healthcare access and convenience, focusing on affordability, geographic accessibility, timely appointments, and health literacy. 

Amanda Henry – Expanding access & improving outcomes in rural areas through virtual care

Amanda Henry, Director, Business Development and Customer Success, Virtual Care at Sanford Health, shared insights on Sanford’s mission to become the premier rural health system in the U.S. by leveraging virtual care to overcome geographic and social determinants of health barriers, enhancing access, and improving patient outcomes. 

Bridging the healthcare access gap in rural America with remote physical exams 

Sanford Health partnered with TytoCare to integrate their virtual care offerings with the goal of improving access to healthcare care and are investing long-term in virtual care as a modality to complement their in-person services.

Brian Erickson – Breaking down barriers of access through telemedicine

Brian Erickson, Vice President and General Manager Behavioral Health, Specialty Clinic, and School Health from Avel eCare, discussed the evolution of Avel’s telemedicine services, highlighting efforts to break down barriers to healthcare access in rural areas. He shared case studies and insights on improving patient outcomes through innovative telehealth solutions.

Avel eCare wanted to make sure that every person in their patient communities could receive high quality care. Using TytoCare, patients can connect with clinicians and conduct remote physical exams no matter where they are located, increasing care accessibility and reducing ED visits.

Ora Sultan, Project Manager of Telemedicine from PM Pediatric Care, discussed the implementation of hybrid telemedicine solutions to enhance pediatric care. She shared insights into overcoming staffing challenges, improving patient access, and integrating telehealth with in-person visits.
