Our Leadership

Dedi Gilad

CEO & Co-Founder

With over 18 years of leadership positions both in startups as well as global companies, Dedi brings extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in R&D, Marketing and Operations of multi-disciplinary products in the fields of Healthcare IT, Enterprise Systems, Internet and SaaS. Before founding Tyto Care, Dedi was the General Manager at MDG Medical, VP R&D at WorkplaceIQ (acquired by Siterra / Accruent) and VP R&D at Aman Group. Dedi earned an MBA and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University.
Ofer Tzadik

COO & Co-Founder

With over 20 years’ experience in the Healthcare IT, Semiconductors and Communication industries, Ofer brings exceptional practical experience in Application development, Operations and Customer Care. His most recent position was Senior Vice President of Operations, MDG Medical Ltd. Prior to that Ofer held management positions at Applied Materials, Orbot Systems / Instruments and Telrad subsidiaries. Ofer earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University.
Anat Eitan

CFO

Anat brings more than 15 years of experience in global companies across all aspects of financial management. In her career, Anat was responsible for the finance, legal and commercial activities including fund raising, M&A and strategic planning. Prior to joining Tytocare, Anat served as CFO of Stratoscale – a high-tech company providing software-defined cloud infrastructure solution. Prior to that Anat served as the CFO of Waze Mobile for 4.5 year until the acquisition by Google. Her earlier experience includes senior finance roles at Schema (acquired by Teoco) and KPMG. Anat holds BA degree in Accounting and an LL.B, both from Tel Aviv University.
Tamir Gotfried

CCO

Tamir brings over 20 years of international sales and business development experience in enterprise technology solutions. Prior to joining TytoCare, Tamir served as the CRO of Bringg, a leading last-mile delivery platform, driving the commercial organization to scale. Tamir also held leadership roles at Starlims, later acquired by Abbott Diagnostics, where he led commercial operations for the Abbott Informatics Division. Tamir earned an MBA from the University of Miami and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Florida International University.
Idit Plaut

VP People

Idit brings over 20 years of human resources management experience at global high-tech companies including Cloudify, GigaSpaces, Alvarion, and Radvision. She has helped grow organizations with her expertise in building company culture that fosters trust, one-team mindset, and employee development. Idit holds a BA in Behavioral Science from Ben-Gurion University and an MA in Labor Studies from Tel Aviv University.
Elad Lachmanovich

VP R&D

Elad brings with him over 14 years of experience in product development of healthcare companies such as Covidien and Superdimension (acquired by Covidien). Elad led development in an Elite IDF technology unit. Elad has a BSc in electrical engineering and computer sciences from JCT graduated summa cum laude. Elad has also completed his MSc in electro-optics engineering from BGU graduating cum laude.
Ophir Lotan

VP Product

Ophir has over 15 years experience of product & marketing leadership positions in leading healthcare IT companies such as dbMotion (Allscripts), iMDsoft, Medcon, and McKesson Provider Technologies. Ophir has a BSc in Computer Science / Economics from Tel-Aviv University, graduated Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from INSEAD.
Eyal Bychkov

VP Hardware & Innovation

Eyal is an entrepreneur of new concepts & products with over 20 years of experience in successful technology companies and over 80 US patents issued. Eyal's experience includes leading positions at PrimeSense, Modu and Sandisk (M-Systems) where he co-invented the USB Flash Drive. Eyal has a BSc from the Holon Institute of Technology and has served in R&D positions at an Elite IDF technology unit.
Ohad Pollak

VP Marketing

Ohad has been leading Marketing and Product teams for over 15 years, heading world-class B2B/B2B2C products and growth teams for private and public companies including Seebo, Verint, and NICE. Ohad earned an MBA from IDC, and has a BSc in Management Information Systems from Ben Gurion University.
Yori Gabay

VP, U.S. Operations

Yori has over 18 years of hands-on experience building and growing start-up companies from the ground-up, 7 years as ventured backed CEO, and 11 years in senior business development, operations and management roles. He is an expert at transforming early stage technology companies into scalable operations while building the necessary ecosystem, processes and infrastructure to support the growing business. Yori has his MBA from Kellogg School, Northwestern University and Tel Aviv University, and his BBA from the Zicklin School of Business.
Amir Gueron

VP, Finance

Amir’s experience includes working with start-up companies, large companies, multinational corporations, public companies, as well as venture capital funds. Prior to joining Tyto Care, he worked as a Manager at Deloitte, an international auditing and business advisory firm. Amir, a C.P.A, holds a B.A in economics and accounting and an MBA (specialty – finance) from Tel Aviv University.
Menahem Shikhman

VP Business Partnerships

Meni Shikhman has over 15 years’ experience working in the Medical Device and Healthcare IT industries. Meni has a BS in Computer Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and MBA from the Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University. Meni has spent a decade in a variety of senior roles at Abbott Diagnostics working on their state of the art informatics offering design and commercialization as well as in Digital Health Product Management, R&D, and Business Development. Meni also served as the Chief Software Architect for the Abbott Informatics Division. Most recently Meni spent several years at CareDox serving as the Chief Product Officer designing innovative Cloud and Mobile platforms to transform pediatrics.
Shany Dembak

Sr. Director Growth Marketing

Shany has over 15 years of experience of international medical device and tech marketing. As a digital marketing expert, she has a proven history of increasing revenue and visibility for the organizations with which she has worked. Dembak specializes in helping medical and technology companies attract investors and buyers. Specializing in market research, analysis, and lead generation, her efforts guiding businesses to better online marketing practices and more comprehensive and strategic marketing campaigns that incorporate PPC have resulted in enormous gains, measurable ROI and viral social engagement. Working closely with clients to create innovative, effective campaigns, With a strong background in project management and medical product launches, she has a long track record of creating and implementing short-term and long-term initiatives that deliver measurable increases in revenue. Dembak not only understands the nuances of digital marketing but has in-depth knowledge of the evolving technologies and platforms that must be incorporated into a comprehensive marketing program.
Dr. Karen S. Rheuban

Chair of the Advisory Board

Dr. Rheuban is Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology), Senior Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education and Director of the Center for Telehealth at the University of Virginia. With more than 20 years experience in telehealth, Dr. Rheuban is a past President of the American Telemedicine Association, she is the board chair of the Virginia Telehealth Network, and she chaired the (US) Institute of Medicine's Workshop on Telehealth in an Evolving Healthcare Environment. She has presented testimony to 6 committees before the US House of Representatives, and helped to advance state parity legislation in the Mid Atlantic states with state legislative testimony. She was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to serve on the Board of the Department of Medical Assistance Services (Medicaid) which she currently chairs. She was profiled in the National Library of Medicine exhibit "Changing the Face of Medicine: Celebrating America's Women Physicians" and is regularly listed in the Best Doctors in America database.
Dr. David Shulkin

Advisory Board

Dr. David Shulkin is Chief Innovation Officer of Sanford Health and former United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Appointed by President Barack Obama from 2015 to 2017, he previously served as the Under Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Health, the largest integrated health care system in the United States. He has served in chief executive roles for Beth Israel Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center and as chief medical officer for the University of Pennsylvania Health System, Temple University Hospital and the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital.
Dr. Nick Patel

Advisory Board

Nick Patel, MD, received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina Honors College and attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Following medical school, Dr. Patel completed his residency in internal medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida and Palmetto Health Richland. Has been a practicing internist for over 10 years at Prisma Health’s midlands affiliate, Palmetto Health. Passionate about taking care of patients with chronic illnesses and promoting wellness. Special interests include diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, asthma, COPD management, and preventative care. Dr. Patel also serves as the Chief Digital Executive at Prisma Health and Vice Chair for Innovation for USC Department of Medicine. Serves on multiple advisory boards including Hewlett-Packard Healthcare Inc, University of South Carolina College of Engineering & Computing, Kyruus, and Fraunhofer USA.

Our Story

Kids and germs go hand-in-hand, and so do coughs, colds, and ear infections. Dedi Gilad, Tyto Care’s CEO, learned this first-hand while raising his two children. Endless nights worrying, and frequent visits to germ-filled emergency rooms with long wait times made him realize there must be a better way. A way to see your doctor from the comfort of home. It was from his experience that Tyto was born, a hand-held exam kit and app for connecting with your doctor for an on-demand medical exam, diagnosis, and prescription if needed, anytime, anywhere.
